White Choco-Bananas (Ghosts) Recipe

Here’s the cutest and spookiest Halloween special – chocolate banana ghosts! 👻

We know this holiday is typically associated with copious amounts of chemical-laden, artificial candy – but what if we could make something to serve to our customers and their kids which was just as delicious but ACTUALLY good for them?! 

It’s a fun and easy addition to your menu lineup, and we made sure to use the staple ingredients that you’ll already have in your inventory!

Here’s What You’ll Need

– 2 – 4 whole bananas w/o skin

– 1 cup coconut butter, melted and whisked smooth

– 1 tsp vegan chocolate chips or cacao nibs (for the eyes)

Topping:

1 1/2 cup white chocolate vegan

1/3 cup coconut butter

1 tsp agave (optional)

1/4 tsp vanilla syrup

1/8 tsp himalayan salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel the bananas and insert a wooden popsicle stick to each one.
  2. Lay the bananas down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and transfer to the freezer to harden up.
  3. Add the coconut butter to a tall slender glass which will cover the entire banana when dipped.
  4. Dip each frozen banana in the jar and return to the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Add to eyes to each banana to make a ghost face and return to the freezer to set and harden.
