Hot Mulled Cider Recipe

The holiday season is upon us – and hot-mulled cider is a must-have on our fall and winter menu. 

It’s just so delicious and the smell so inviting, guests of all ages never seem to be able to turn down a mug!

Here’s What You’ll Need

– 4 cups, apple cider

– 4 tbsp maple syrup or other unrefined liquid sweetener of choice

– 1 orange sliced

– 1 lemon sliced

– 8 whole cloves

– 3 cinnamon sticks

– 2 star anise

– 1 nutmeg, cracked

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and allow 15 minutes to simmer.
  3. Strain and serve warm.
