Affogato Caramel Drizzle

Indulge in pure dessert decadence with this Affogato Caramel Drizzle recipe! This treat is a match made in dessert heaven—rich, dairy-free ice cream and bold espresso, all wrapped up in a luscious caramel hug.

Here’s What You’ll Need

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 scoops dairy-free ice cream of choice
  • 2 shots of espresso (1 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce (see below)
  • 1 tsp, cacao nibs
  • sprinkle of coarse flake sea salt

Caramel Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tbsp coconut nectar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/8 tsp himalayan salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Scoop ice cream into your favourite bowl. 
  2. Add the shots of espresso.
  3. For the caramel drizzle, process all ingredients in a high-speed blender until creamy and smooth.
  4. Drizzle the caramel sauce.
  5. Garnish with a sprinkle of the cacao nibs and coarse sea salt flakes.
